Many charities, teams and groups take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks as a fundraising challenge. If you are organising one, Mark can talk to you about guide support on the day and about helping your walkers prepare.
Why a guide helps
The Three Peaks is about 24 miles with roughly 1,585 m of climbing, and the challenge is to finish in under 12 hours. The section between Whernside and Ingleborough can be boggy, and the waymarks are hard to follow in poor visibility. For a group with mixed fitness, a guide who knows the route can help keep everyone together, on route and on time.
Mark has supported people on the Three Peaks on many occasions. You can read what guests say on the guided walks section of the homepage.
